Kim Chizevsky-Nicholls is starting a career in health coaching – with her own fitness equipment. Kim puts in her steps before a workout. “I decided to go to the gym today and I felt so good 🤩!! I’m easing the “road/leg work” back into my routine – I miss it a lot, but now I’m getting stronger and feeling better every day – it’s been a blessing to be able to do this again,” she wrote in a recent letter.
Kim recently changed her exercise routine, due to her battle with osteoarthritis. “I’ve been trying really hard to let go of my ‘All In Or Nothing’ mentality – because I’ve come to the painful truth that old school bodybuilding training is no longer an option for me – it’s a very hard pill to swallow – but also a blessing – because it also teaches me to take care of my body in a different way – a better way for me at this point in my life,” he writes in the post. “Here’s another way I incorporate low impact, low body exercise and my LOVE – yes, you read that right – MY MOST DEFINITE LOVE FOR THE STEPMILL: *criss cross step * wide steps * forward lunge steps * rear leg raises * hand side steps (both sides) – I walk for 5 minutes doing each of these steps. 5 minutes (1 minute for each movement) until I have walked for at least 30 minutes Start at your own pace and go up!! and strength.”
